Are the tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on GentleTools runs directly in your browser, with no sign-up and no data sent to a server.
How do I get the free Reading Planner?
Subscribe using the form on the homepage — the planner (PDF) is sent to your email automatically, along with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
I bought a planner or tool bundle but haven't received it — what do I do?
Check your spam/promotions folder first, since delivery emails sometimes land there. If it's still missing after that, contact us and include the email address you used at checkout — we'll resend it.
Do you offer refunds?
If a digital product does not work as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right — either with a fix or a refund.
How can I suggest a new tool or article topic?
We'd love to hear it — use the contact form and tell us what you're looking for.
How long does it take to get a reply?
We aim to reply to every message within a couple of business days.
Do the apps need an internet connection?
No. Every app is a single HTML file that runs in your browser with no account, no login and no connection. You can use one on a train, in a garage with no signal, or on a laptop that has never been online.
Where is my data stored, and can you see it?
In your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, so nobody — including us — can see what is in it. The trade-off is that clearing your browsing data, using a private window, or switching browser or device will leave the app looking empty. Every app has an Export backup button in Settings; use it, and keep the file somewhere that is not the same device.
Is anything a subscription?
No. Everything here is either free or a one-time purchase, yours to keep, including future updates. There is nothing recurring and nothing to cancel.
Can I use the apps and tools on my phone?
Yes — they work in a phone browser. Remember that each device keeps its own separate data, because there is no server to sync through. Either pick one device and treat it as the real one, or move deliberately by exporting a backup from one and importing it on the other.
What is in the StillWorth Rental Business Kit?
Four files: an offline browser app for running a small rental business, a 13-sheet Excel workbook holding the same business as a spreadsheet, a 41-page business plan, and a 20-page user guide. What can I open the Excel workbooks with?
Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets. They are ordinary .xlsx files with formulas, filters and dropdowns — no macros, so nothing to enable and nothing to trust.
