Using the free tools

The calculators and interactive tools on GentleTools are provided as-is, free to use, for personal, non-commercial purposes. They're built carefully, but we can't guarantee they're error-free — don't rely on them for anything where a mistake would be costly or dangerous.

Wellness planners & apps are not medical advice

Bloom, Rise, Brave Days, The Caregiver's Companion, Clarity, and any other journal, tracker, or planner on this site are self-tracking tools meant to help you notice patterns and stay organized. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you're dealing with a health or safety concern, please talk to a qualified professional.

License — what you can do with a purchased or unlocked planner

You may:

• Print and use a planner for yourself or your household, as many times as you like
• Edit the editable version for your own personal use
• Print copies for personal use by friends or family, free of charge

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or share the files themselves (as-is or edited) for money or for free
• Upload the files to another website, marketplace, or shared drive for others to download
• Claim the design or content as your own work
• Use a planner or app for commercial purposes (e.g. giving it away as a lead magnet for your own business) without written permission

Digital apps (like the ADHD Planner)

Interactive HTML apps purchased from GentleTools are licensed for personal use on your own devices. All data you enter into an app is stored locally in your own browser — we don't have access to it, can't recover it if you clear your browser data, and recommend using the app's built-in export/backup option periodically.

HoopNest League / hosted SaaS

Organizations using the hosted HoopNest service for league administration, team management, live scorekeeping, public statistics or related SaaS features are governed by the separateHoopNest SaaS Terms of Service. Those terms apply to the hosted league service and do not replace the personal-use licence for standalone downloadable apps.

Payments & refunds

Purchases are processed securely by Stripe. If a digital product doesn't work as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase at the contact page and we'll make it right — either with a fix or a refund. Because these are instant-download digital products, we can't offer refunds simply for a change of mind once a file has been downloaded, except where required by law in your region.

Changes

We may update these terms as GentleTools grows. Meaningful changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
