What this tool does
The tracker stores dated weight, body-fat percentage and circumference measurements in one shared GentleTools Fitness local format. You can switch between 30-day, 90-day and all-time views, chart any supported metric, edit individual entries, and export your history.
How to use it
- Choose the date and unit system, then enter at least one measurement you actually recorded.
- Save the entry. Nothing else is inserted automatically and there is no demo history.
- Choose a chart metric and time range to view the numerical trend from your real saved entries.
- Edit an individual entry if you need to correct it. Deleting an entry requires a second confirmation click.
- Print or save to PDF, export CSV for spreadsheet use, or export a standalone HTML copy.
Important limitations
This tool records and visualizes user-entered measurements. It does not diagnose health status, set target body measurements, interpret whether a change is medically good or bad, or determine a safe rate of weight or body-composition change. Tape measurements also vary with technique, timing and measurement location.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to enter every measurement?
No. Enter any one or more fields you actually measured. Blank fields remain blank and are not filled with sample values.
Where is my history stored?
For the current free tool, saved measurements stay in local browser storage on this device. The data shape is designed to map to the future account-based Fitness App.
Can I use pounds and inches?
Yes. The interface converts between metric and US units while keeping one normalized metric representation internally.
Can I delete all my history at once?
No bulk-delete control is provided in this tool. Individual entries require a two-step confirmation to reduce accidental data loss.
Does a downward or upward trend mean I should change my plan?
Not by itself. The chart reports numerical change only. It does not prescribe a target or interpret the trend as medically positive or negative.
