What this tool does
This page uses the same deterministic GentleTools Workout Planner as the main workout generator. The difference is the home-focused setup: bodyweight is always available, optional home-kit shortcuts can fill the equipment list only when you click them, and the same GREEN / YELLOW / RED safety gate runs before a plan is created.
How to use it
- Choose your goal, training experience, weekly frequency and session length.
- Leave equipment blank for bodyweight-only training, select items manually, or use a home equipment shortcut if it matches your real setup.
- Complete the current safety check. RED inputs stop generation and YELLOW inputs switch to conservative mode.
- Optionally exclude movements you personally want to avoid or have specifically been told to avoid.
- Generate the plan, then save it locally, print it to PDF, or export HTML.
Important limitations
This generator provides general training guidance, not diagnosis or medical clearance. It never decides that an exercise is medically safe for a particular injury. Equipment shortcuts are optional UI helpers and do not create or overwrite account data.
Frequently asked questions
Can I generate a home workout with no equipment?
Yes. Bodyweight exercises are always available. Leave every equipment checkbox empty or choose the Bodyweight only shortcut.
Does the home shortcut add fake profile data?
No. Nothing is selected by default. Equipment changes only after you click a shortcut or choose items yourself, and a profile is saved locally only after a successful generated plan.
Can I use dumbbells or resistance bands?
Yes. Select the equipment you actually have. The shared exercise library filters the plan to options compatible with those selections.
What happens if the available exercises are not enough?
The generator fails closed instead of pretending the plan is balanced. It may ask you to reduce training days, add available equipment, or remove an exclusion.
