Christmas Light Installation Profit Calculator
Price the season you actually have to finish — prep, install, route time, service calls, takedown, storage handling, materials, replacements and profit. Compare year-one economics with the cheaper repeat season before a busy December turns into an expensive January.

The install is only half of the labor story
Holiday-light jobs often collect most of their revenue before removal, which makes takedown easy to forget while pricing. The calculator puts prep, install, expected service calls, takedown and packing into one economic cycle so January cannot disappear from the December quote.
Reusable material still needs a recovery plan
If you provide the lights, wire and other reusable inventory, decide how many seasons should recover that investment. The year-one model allocates a planned share of inventory cost; the repeat-year view shows what the job looks like after that recovery burden is removed.
Busy-season capacity is a margin constraint
The tool compares the paid crew-hours consumed by one installation cycle with the crew-hours you say are available during your install season. It does not recommend working hours; it simply exposes whether the sales plan fits the capacity you already chose.
