Why log this here instead of an app

Most online dive logs (divelogs.org, LogMyDive, PADI's app) want an account before you can save anything, and most SAC/RMV calculators only ever show you one number at a time — nothing carries over to the next dive. This keeps a running log with the math done automatically, without asking for anything. If you keep a physical logbook too — most agencies still expect one for your certification card — this is the fast version to fill in on the boat, then copy across properly later.
