GLP-1 Dose & Weight Record: Private Local Tracking Without Dose Advice

The free GLP-1 Dose & Weight Record is a local browser record for information you choose to enter: medication name, prescribed dose as you recorded it, date, injection site, weight and symptoms or side effects you want to remember.

It is deliberately narrower than a treatment app. It does not calculate a dose, decide when another dose is due, choose an injection site, verify technique or tell you whether a symptom is expected or safe.

What it records

• Medication entry — the product name you select or enter, date and dose you record from your current instructions.
• Weight — optional values in pounds or kilograms shown as a personal trend over the entries you saved.
• Injection-site history — the site you recorded for each entry, without generating a next-site recommendation.
• Symptoms or side effects — optional user-entered observations kept alongside the dated entry.
• Notes — anything you want to remember for yourself or discuss with the prescribing team.
• Printable/exportable history — a copy of what you entered, not a clinical interpretation.

The prescription and product instructions remain the source of truth

If the medication, concentration, device, dose or schedule changes, follow the current prescription and product Instructions for Use. Do not copy an old schedule forward simply because it is already in the tracker.

Why the tracker does not show a “next dose due” recommendation

Different GLP-1 medicines, indications, dose changes, missed-dose instructions and individual treatment plans are not something a generic browser page can safely infer from the last date logged.

The tool can show the chronology you entered. It should not turn “seven days since the last entry” into an instruction to inject again. Use the prescribed schedule and current product instructions, and contact the prescribing or dispensing team if the next step is unclear.

Why the last injection site is history, not advice

Seeing the previous site can be useful when following product-specific rotation instructions, but the tool does not know whether that site entry was correct, whether the device instructions changed, or which site is appropriate next.

Treat it as a memory aid only. The current FDA-approved Instructions for Use and the healthcare professional’s directions govern technique and site selection.

What the trend chart means

A weight line connects the values you entered. It is not a treatment-response assessment and does not tell you whether a medication is working, whether weight change is medically appropriate or whether the dose should change.

Likewise, a “most logged symptom” count only reports frequency in your own entries. It does not establish that the medication caused the symptom or determine severity.

Privacy and backups

The working history is designed to stay in the browser on the device you use rather than requiring a GentleTools health account. That is a local-first trade-off, not a guarantee that the record can never be lost.

If browser storage is cleared, the device fails or you move to another device, the local history may not be available. Use the export options to keep a separate copy if the record matters to you.

When a larger tool makes sense
