The event time is not the labor time
A four-hour party can consume a much larger slice of the business day. Delivery, setup, pickup, takedown and cleaning all use paid labor and route capacity. If only event time is visible in the price, the invisible cycle quietly becomes unpaid work.
Let the unit pay for itself on purpose
Inventory is not free after purchase. Assigning a recovery amount to every rental shows how many jobs are required to earn back the unit before repair, replacement and growth. The calculator separates that planned inventory recovery from labor and operating cost.
Capacity is the smaller of two numbers
