How it works

The Pomodoro Technique breaks work into focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) followed by a short break. After four focus sessions, you take a longer break to properly reset. Adjust the lengths above to fit how you actually work — there's nothing magic about 25 minutes.

The tab title updates with your countdown, so you can keep this tab in the background and glance at it any time. A gentle chime plays when a session ends (make sure your sound is on). Completed focus sessions are saved locally in your browser, so "This week" and your daily streak persist across visits — nothing leaves your device, and you can clear it any time with "Reset stats."
