SSI Dedicated Account Expense & Receipt Tracker

Keep a separate, auditable record of deposits, interest, expenses, receipts and supporting notes for a child’s SSI dedicated account — without entering an SSN, bank-account number or sending financial records to GentleTools.

Important: Dedicated-account rules are unusually restrictive. This tool highlights categories described in SSA guidance, but it cannot approve an expenditure. When an expense is unclear, verify it with SSA before spending.

Before deleting: export a JSON backup and, if needed, your receipt files separately. Browser storage can be cleared by the browser or device.
Keep benefit evidence together, not scattered across folders.

GentleTools Records & Advocacy tools are designed for private, dated records you can print when a review, appeal or meeting arrives.

What this tracker does differently

A dedicated account is not just another household budget. SSA guidance restricts how the money can be used and requires records of deposits and expenditures. The tool therefore separates deposits from expenses, flags categories that commonly require extra verification, tracks missing receipts and produces a year-specific accounting view.

What not to store

Do not enter Social Security numbers, complete bank-account numbers, passwords or other credentials. Use initials and neutral account labels. This tool is independent recordkeeping, not an SSA submission system or legal advice.
